THAILAND’S LEADING HEALTH, FITNESS AND YOGA RETREAT
THAILAND’S LEADING HEALTH, FITNESS AND YOGA RETREAT
The word yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj, means to yoke or bind, and is often interpreted as “union” or a method of discipline. Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices. It includes breathing control, simple meditation and specific body postures.
All levels are welcome to practice. Modifications and adjustments will be given.
All equipment will be provided. If you have your own mat and wish to bring it, please do so.
“Vinyasa” means to synchronise movement with breath, to flow from one pose to the next.
Yes we do and both of these disciplines are incorporated in class. If you are new to Yoga come with an open mind, as both elements will compliment your yoga practice.
No! You can take part in as much or as little as you like, this is your retreat! We suggest keeping an open mind and encourage you to participate in all classes to benefit the body and mind, but ultimately this is your choice.
Most definitely! Practicing yoga is like setting the reset button for the body and mind. Care and attention will be given to the injury creating a practice that is healing and restorative.
We specialise in Prenatal, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga. All aspects of a safe, soothing and enjoyable practice will be given.
Yes! One to one sessions allow for a more intimate view of your practice and well being. Bespoke to your individual needs and requests.
We offer an exciting variation of strength and conditioning work complimented with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Different pieces of equipment will be used in addition to body weight exercises resulting in fat burning and muscle toning.
Fitness work places positive stress on the human body forcing it to adapt and improve. Muscle contractions result in a shortening of your tissue over time. Contrastly yoga helps to lengthen and stretch your muscle tissue helping to aid with recovery and improve flexibility.
All classes are adaptable to every level of fitness. So if you are a complete novice or serious athlete you will be equally challenged.
Anything comfortable! It will be hot so make sure anything you wear is breathable. Trainers will be required for some of your sessions so bring a pair with you.
A positive mindset, a willing attitude and a sweat towel.
We will need to know more about any injuries before you arrive. Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive a Health Profile form. This form includes questions regarding your current health mind and body, medical history, and your aims and objectives for your stay. We ask that you complete and return these forms prior to your arrival so that we can best prepare for your stay.
There are certain restricted movements to abide by depending on each trimester. And it’s important to not become too hot or overheat but we do encourage fitness to continue during pregnancy so yes the fitness classes are suitable.

Koh Samui features a tropical climate. It is warm and sunny for most of the year. The heaviest precipitation is typically seen in the months of October and November. For the rest of the year, given the tropical climate, rain showers are brief; 20–60 minutes duration is typical.
Our retreat lies on the south coast of Koh Samui which is forty-five minutes away from Koh Samui airport.

When entering Thailand for fewer than 30 days you do not require a visa. If you think you will want to spend more than 1 month in Thailand, we strongly recommend getting a tourist visa in your own country. Most travellers are issued a one month tourist visa upon arrival in Thailand at one of the country’s international airports. If you cross the Thai border by road you will only be given a 15 day visa.
The Centres for Disease Control and World Health Organisation recommend these vaccines for a trip to Thailand:
Yellow Fever (if coming from a country with the virus)
Unfortunately not as our retreat begins on Saturday that is when we kindly ask you to arrive. However there are other nearby hotels and accommodation if you would like to be close by before Saturday.
